About Steven
My teaching career began at the age of 10 years old when my mum bought me a Fisher Price Blackboard, which I gave her lessons on after school. Since then I have explored all opportunities to teach. Currently, I am a University Lecturer and also a part-time evening tutor. I am living my dream job!

I teach in a calm, encouraging way and adapt my approach to suit your learning style. Some people prefer more of a step-by-step explanation, whilst others prefer visual aids, or discussion-based learning. I will accommodate your optimal learning strategy. I place particular emphasis on understanding why things work, not just memorising facts, so that knowledge is easier to retain and apply.
