In the first lesson, I carry out an initial assessment using an introductory exercise or, if the student has no knowledge of the subject, as the student their aim (e.g. to achieve xyz grade in an exam), why you have this aim, and what their hobbies are. Based on the above, I create suitable learning material for them to use in future lessons.
The typical length of a lesson is 45 minutes, but this can be up to 90 minutes, depending on the students' needs.
I have a PGCE and have taught in both private and public sectors since 2016. I am able to teach regardless of their age groups and people of different backgrounds.
