About Jennifer
Hi there! I am a qualified teacher from WA with experience teaching young adults. I hold a PhD in History and I am passionate about helping students develop critical thinking skills and discover a love of learning. In addition, I am currently studying a TESOL certificate to develop a new set of teaching skills, with the aim of teaching English next year to international students. I have lived and worked overseas and enjoy engaging with students from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I enjoy getting to know all my students and their learning styles so that I can personalize my teaching methods and deliver excellent results. In my free time I love spending time with my kids, cuddling puppies, and eating Mexican food!

I take the time to get to know my students so I can personalise my teaching methods to best meet their learning needs. I value mutual respect, listening skills, and flexibility to engage with and learn with my students. I am passionate about teaching my students how to learn through critical thinking skills.
I have experience tutoring and teaching university student. My experience has been with adults but I'm confident I can successfully teach any level and age as needed.
