I have previous experience in higher education mentoring and GCSE science tuition.
Tutored GCSE science, including all 3 sciences. Have tutored SEN students and have access to resources aimed at SEN students.

Looking to tutor GCSE science and A level Biology students.
Lessons are planned and adapted to the students needs and learning style. I do not believe in just memorising content for exams and want my students to understand the subject (and hopefully enjoy it!). Lessons will be online due to COVID-19, I will be looking to teach from my own home at a later date.
I would like the student to message me with any topics that they want to go over a few days before our lesson so I can ensure I have the appropriate materials to help them. I will prepare learning material to go through, usually a mix of theory and practice questions. After a few weeks I'd like the student to do a test so that the both of us can review what you have learnt and identify if there are any areas that need more focus.
I can also also tailor the tutoring to encompass exam strategies and techniques for specific exam boards.

Kristi's aptitude for science communication makes her an excellent tutor for students of all ages who want to further their understanding of science.
