About Joao
My name is João Jerónimo. I’m currently a PhD student in Economics at Heriot-Watt University. My research interests include labor economics and econometrics, with applications to wage determinants and worker mobility. I teach an economics course to 1st year undergrads and engage with the Economics Department through seminars and paper presentations. Moreover, I’ve had extensive training in linear algebra, calculus, real analysis, topology, differential equations and statistics. On my spare time, I enjoy reading (mostly sci-fi, history and philosophy) , spending time with my partner and our doggo, watching tv-shows and playing DnD (level 3 human fighter with lawful-good affinity).
