About Madison
I am a PhD student at BGSU studying viruses and bacteria. For my master's degree, I studied canine genetics and viruses. All of my degrees I hold are in biology. I’ve consistently held high GPAs. Never below a 3.9. Throughout my career I’ve learned the benefits of finding your own learning mechanisms is a large part of a person's success.

When I teach students in classrooms, I tend to give them multiple options to learn. This is either through visuals like drawing out processes or watching videos. Another strength that I have found that works for students is simplifying topics, and then slowly adding the complex details. In my classes, textbooks are more so an accessory tool than a mandatory standard. Even though I typically do these learning mechanisms, I have also adapted to others as well. I’m very easy to work with and I have experience teaching college-level courses, but could also teach at lower levels.
