About Alif
I am a theoretical physics PhD student at UCL who holds a first-class honours MSci Physics degree from UCL. I have many years of tutoring experience and also employed as a postgraduate teaching assistant at my university. I have completed my GCSEs and A-levels in the UK with A* grades achieved.

As a former GCSE and A-level student who has achieved A* in all of their subjects I am aware of the standards needed to make sure that the highest possible grade can be achieved. My lesson plan (subject to change based on the student’s needs) is as follows: 1) Targeted Learning: I identify your weak areas and create a tailored plan to build confidence and understanding step by step. 2) Master the Subject: We’ll dive deep into topics that you are least confident with, while also reinforcing your strengths to make sure no gaps remain. 3) Exam-Ready Practice: With focused problem-solving sessions and detailed feedback, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to tackle any question and aim for top marks.

I worked with Alif on various theoretical and experimental physics topics over this year during my masters. He has a very methodical and strategic approach to Physics, such that over time he builds intuition on the subject and becomes good at it. I am very impressed by his grasp of Physics and his ability to know what assumptions or approximations are used for a problem.
