About Vanja

I’m a PhD student and passionate English tutor, with a particular interest in writing. As part of my academic work, I write extensively and have developed strong experience with essays, research papers, academic assignments, and professional writing.

I genuinely enjoy working with words and, even more, helping other people feel more confident in their own writing. I believe that everyone can become a better writer with the right guidance and a little practice. My goal is to create a friendly and supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and improve without feeling intimidated.

Whether you are looking for help with an academic assignment, want to improve your English writing, or simply want to express your ideas more clearly and confidently, I would be happy to work with you!

About the lesson

My lessons are mainly focused on English writing, especially for students who want to feel more confident expressing their ideas clearly and naturally. As a PhD student, I spend a large part of my time writing and reviewing academic work, and I genuinely enjoy helping others improve their writing.

Rather than simply correcting mistakes, I work with students to understand *why* something does not work and how to improve it. Depending on your needs, we can work on anything from sentence structure, grammar, and vocabulary to organizing ideas, building strong paragraphs, improving flow, and developing a clear academic writing style.

Lessons are personalized to your goals. We can work directly with your own essays, assignments, applications, or other pieces of writing, so that you are learning skills you can immediately use in your own work.

What sets my approach apart is that I want you to leave each lesson knowing how to improve your writing yourself; not just with a corrected piece of work. I aim to make writing feel less overwhelming and more manageable, while helping you become a stronger and more confident writer over time.
