About Sophie
I am a second year student studying philosophy, religion and ethics at the university of Birmingham. I have straight A’s and B’s in both GCSE and A - Levels and achieved a first in my first year of university. I also have experience working with and teaching those under 18 as I volunteer with Pause, offering creative writing skills for struggling teens

I make sure to try and adapt to each student’s individual needs and style of learning, while maintaining awareness the relevant areas of learning, making sure neither of us stray off topic. I find that no two students have the same exact needs, so I never let myself get too stuck in my ways - I think being able to adapt my teaching style to each individual student is necessary for being a good teacher.

Sophie has a wide range of knowledge to pass on to individuals. She is very patient and supportive with people and makes them feel comfortable when learning; she takes into consideration that people learn differently and will adapt to their style of learning but keeps the input of knowledge the same.
