About Elizabeth
My name is Elizabeth Sandoval, I am a photographer and have a degree in graphic design. I graduated from the Active School of Photography and the University of the Valley of Mexico respectively.
Since I was little I was very in contact with photography but I never imagined that it would become my great passion. It wasn't until I was 12 years old that I began to study cinematography with the writer Alejandro Archundia as a mentor that I began to take this art as something really serious.
He used to tell me: “Always go beyond what others see”; this completely changed my perspective on things and I began my search for what others do not see, for those moments as ethereal as they are fleeting and to capture them through photography.
My photos are usually colorful and full of life, however I fervently believe that the soul is portrayed in black and white, so I also enjoy doing it.
I have participated in exhibitions at the Manuel Álvarez Bravo Gallery (2014, 2015 and 2016) as well as in Perceptions, at Valle Escondido Golf Club ( 2015).
