About Ashly
Hi! My name is Ashly Byju and I am 18 years old. I study Physical Sciences at Trinity College Dublin as a second year student. I got 601 points for my Leaving Cert in 2021 and I got a H1 for my French written and oral exams despite the predictions that I received. I was greatly influenced by my French teacher who inspired me to do my best and instilled a passion for French in me that I still carry today. I like to use one or two French phrases a day and saying "merci" instead of thank you is something I accidentally still do. I would hope that I will influence whoever I'm teaching in the same way and that I will encourage them to keep using French in their daily life even when the Leaving Cert is over.

Heya! My name is Ashly Byju, I am 18 years old and I am a second year Physical Sciences student at Trinity College Dublin with a passion for French language and culture. I achieved a H1 in Leaving Cert Higher Level French and I got an overall score of 601 points for my Leaving cert.
I will teach French actively with lots of listening and speaking exercises. New, interesting vocabulary and idiomatic phrases will be focused on during my lessons which will help you up your chances of getting that H1! I already tutor two students for Leaving Cert higher level Maths and one student for Junior Cert Science so teaching French would be a welcome change and a chance for me to grow! My lessons will typically be 1.5 hours long with a frequency of 2 lessons a week. My lessons will be for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate higher and ordinary level students.
