First, i believe that for any concept to be understood, i must try to make it fun and interactive. whether it's algebra in mathematics, kinematic in physics or probability in statistic, i always make my students see the fun side of any concept i'm teaching.
Secondly, i present live application of any concept. Doing these would make the student appreciate the reason why they are learning what they are learning. i also make my classes very interactive.
For sets me apart, i have a unique way of driving home whatever concept I'm teaching.
I teach basically from middle school to high school, and sometimes college.
Below is a lesson plan to teach algebra
1. Introduction to Algebra (10 minutes)
2. Simplifying Algebraic Expressions (15 minutes)
3. Solving Basic Equations (20 minutes)
4. Application of Algebra (15 minutes)
5. Practice and Review (20 minutes)
6. Conclusion and Homework (5 minutes)
