About Haley
I recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in physics, and am currently taking a few years off to work before applying to grad schools. I have always loved to learn and teach math/science and am excited to use my time off to tutor on the subjects I love!

I specifically am aiming to give lessons on regular high school physics, but am able to teach honors, AP, and college physics as well, just send me a message and we can make a plan! I focus on tutoring students by helping them through their homework and any additional problems that I think will best assist in their understanding of the topics they need the most help with. I also will go over past assignments and exams with students, to both help them understand their mistakes, and to help myself better understand students' strengths and weaknesses, so I know what to focus on. I try to figure out each individual student's learning style to maximize learning efficiency. I do my best to not just help students get the grades they want, but to make sure they really understand what they're doing and why, I find that this is the most reliable way to ensure a student consistently can score well on exams!
