About Alasdair
I have just completed my PhD in theoretical physics at the university of Edinburgh. During that time, as well as conducting research, I worked as a teaching assistant for a variety of undergraduate courses.
Prior to that I studied Physics at the university of Oxford, graduating with a first class/distinction Masters degree. 3 years was spent on general physics and specialised in mathematical and theoretical physics in my final year.

We can discuss concepts and basic material, work through problems together, go over past exam papers and work on exam technique... We'll find what works best for you.
I've taught as a teaching assistant for the past 4 years during my PhD at the university of Edinburgh on a wide range of topics. This ranged from first year undergraduate up to masters level theoretical physics.
