About Joe
I'm a Physics graduate with about 6 years of 1 to 1 tutoring experience mostly with College and Junior or Senior High School students. My tutoring approach is personalized and adaptable for anyone either struggling or wanting to get better at solving problems, master a new skill, etc. I'm a visual learner myself and had to learn how to adapt to different learning styles. I've also have business and accounting experience with several classes and real life scenarios.

Depending on the complexity of the subject, I like to do an overall needs assessment first to find out what needs to be addressed first and what are the student goals for the lesson or learning period. I also like to learn about the students' preferred learning method and build a plan based on what they feel they can do better at. This is very important in Physics, Math and Business, as the concepts can be understood using an analytical, verbal, or visual approach. The goal is to master the subject, in the most efficient way possible.
