About Robert
I am a recent graduate of University of Edinburgh with a BSc in Physics. I have experience working with kids in activities camps and during my work with children with disabilities. I have found that I am able to ascertain a level of understanding and communicate to that level in this work.
During my time at school and university I have also found that I am able to help those around me learn quicker due to my understanding and communication. My main areas of strength are physics and maths. I am able to tutor in these areas from primary school right through to advanced higher. I can see where gaps in understanding are and I can find new ways of teaching to help someone understand these.
I was very successful at school with both physics and maths, I was often ahead of my classmates, this gave me the opportunity to become good at helping others. I found that I was able to help others along. I was patient and learned how to communicate concepts in new ways.
Going to university also helped this as i started to find physics more difficult. During tutorials I was able to see what was helpful and what was unhelpful when tutors helped me. This enabled me to enhance my own tutoring when I helped my fellow classmates.
