About Zoya

My fascination with physics began during my Bachelor’s in Physics and deepened during a Master’s in Theoretical Physics, where I explored mechanics, waves, and energy systems in depth. Over 6 years of teaching, I have helped learners of all levels understand and apply physics principles confidently. My approach focuses on clarity, patience, and interactive engagement, ensuring that students feel supported and encouraged while tackling challenging topics.

I design lessons to combine visual, conceptual, and practical learning methods. Beginners focus on foundational principles, intermediate learners tackle multi-step problems, and advanced students explore derivations, complex calculations, and real-world applications. I emphasize reasoning, independent thinking, and curiosity, creating an environment where learners develop confidence and resilience in approaching difficult concepts.

Outside of teaching, I engage in research discussions, physics simulations, and problem-solving activities, incorporating these into lessons to enhance relevance and engagement. Witnessing students gain confidence, analytical skills, and curiosity—transforming from uncertainty to mastery—is profoundly fulfilling. My ultimate aim is to inspire learners to think critically, explore physics independently, and build confidence in their abilities to analyze and solve complex problems in both academic and real-world contexts.

About the lesson

Physics lessons become engaging when learners understand the principles that explain everyday phenomena. I cover mechanics, thermodynamics, energy systems, waves, and electromagnetism through interactive teaching, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations. Lessons are tailored to the student’s level, balancing theory with practical examples and problem-solving exercises to ensure comprehension and confidence. I focus on making abstract ideas intuitive and showing how physics applies to the real world, encouraging curiosity and scientific thinking.

Intermediate learners gain proficiency in problem-solving, experiments, and multi-step calculations, while advanced learners work on derivations, advanced formulas, and application of concepts in real-world or exam contexts. Each lesson emphasizes understanding over memorization, with guided exercises, practical examples, and reasoning strategies. The aim is to create confident learners who can approach complex physics problems methodically and creatively.
