I am a dedicated, enthusiastic and reliable Maths and Physics tutor. I mainly teach Year 12 and A Level students, but my tutees have ranged from Year 5 children all the way to first year University students. I have been tutoring since I was 15 years old, so I have plenty of experience working with children from very different backgrounds!
I base my teaching around personalised learning, thus suiting the specific needs of each student. We will have a free, introductory lesson, where we can get to know each other and I can have the opportunity to assess your level.
This way we can work from the ground up, making sure you understand the basic ideas before we move on to solving the hard stuff! I strongly believe in understanding over memorising, so we will make sure to not leave any stone unturned. More often than not, a different approach is all it takes for the content to become understandable, and most importantly, enjoyable.
After our first lesson, I will arrange a learning plan, and parents and students will receive regular feedback as the lessons take place and we make progress. We can meet at the student’s residence, at my office at home or at various study areas around the University campuses that I have access to. I will provide stationery, lined paper and a tablet. You are encouraged to bring your textbooks and any homework or tests you need help with.
Please note that due to the current global pandemic situation, online tutoring is highly encouraged. I am however still available to receive students at my office or their residences, but PPE material and strict hygiene measurements will have to be in place.
I have a Masters in Theoretical Physics, and have been tutoring Maths and Physics for more than 6 years. Having taught over 50 different students, I have helped people prepare and pass GCSE’s, A Levels and University level examinations.
My rates are dependant on the required level. For Secondary/GCSE/A Level students, I charge 15£/hr, and for University students 20£/hr. These rates are flexible, depending on the amount of weekly hours each student wants. I also offer a discount for group lessons, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Perfect! Our son loves his math lessons with Alberto. He is very knowledgeable and delivers his lessons in a calm and passionate manner. We would highly recommend him.
Alberto has a contagious passion for physics and a real knack for making complex concepts tangible and putting them into perspective. He is an excellent teacher who is both personable and approachable and has a wealth of experience helping students. He also has a deep understanding of physics and a solid grasp of mathematics.
Alberto helped me prepare my Maths GCSE, I ended up getting a B when my teacher predicted me a C! He is very understanding and helped me with my confidence solving problems, I can’t recommend him enough
