About James
My name is James, I am a masters student in my fourth year in physics at the University of Manchester. I've tutored many students and love seeing the progression of pupils which can be inspired simply byre-explaining what might've been missed by a student first time in school or college. I am a saxophonist and an avid rugby player, also. I like to build a rapport with students and get to know them as I believe a good relationship helps a lot to speed up the learning process.

I am currently studying my masters in physics at the University of Manchester and averaging a first over the first three years. I also have A*s at A-Level in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I am an experienced tutor, teaching both online and in person mainly for GCSE maths but also for sciences and at the A-Level standard as well. I tend to describe things from the very basics as understanding all the steps to a problem helps in memorising how to tackle questions. I also tend to use a lot of past paper examples as this prepare students, keeping them calm in exams as, by the time they get there, they will have seen many of the problems before. Lessons are usually an hour long but I am extremely flexible.
