About Nishant
I am a Physics graduate from the University of Waterloo with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, problem solving, and analytical thinking. I am currently pursuing a Master of Physics in Computational Physics at the University of Western Australia, where my research focuses on quantum computing and gravitational waves.
I have several years of experience working with students at both the high school and university level. I tutor Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics, covering topics ranging from algebra, calculus, and introductory statistics to university-level mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, relativity, and mathematical physics.
My teaching approach is centered on developing genuine understanding rather than relying on memorization. I break complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and focus on explaining not only how to solve a problem, but why the method works. I then use structured practice to help students apply these ideas independently and develop confidence in their problem-solving abilities.
I believe that students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I therefore take a patient, supportive, and individualized approach, adapting each lesson to the student's level, learning style, and goals.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and can be tailored to suit the student's needs. Whether you are preparing for an examination, catching up on challenging material, working through difficult problems, or looking to develop a deeper understanding of a subject, I aim to make each lesson clear, engaging, and worthwhile.

I offer personalised lessons in Physics, Mathematics, and Statistics for high-school, senior secondary, and university students.
Physics: mechanics, electromagnetism, waves and optics, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, special and general relativity, cosmology, and mathematical physics.
Mathematics: algebra, trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and related university mathematics.
Statistics: probability, descriptive and inferential statistics, statistical distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, and introductory statistical modelling.
I have several years of tutoring experience and hold a BSc (Honours) in Physics from the University of Waterloo. I am currently completing a Master of Physics in Computational Physics at the University of Western Australia, with research in quantum computing and gravitational waves.
