About Sophie
Many years experience tutoring maths, science and languages for students aged 10-16. My recent tutees have exceeded expectations in their exams, with a previous student moving from a C to an A grade in Maths in less than a year with my teaching.
I currently study Physics at the University of Bath, receiving a First in my first year of study. I have further academic excellence with A*A*AA at A-level, and GCSE grades of 9 A*s and 2As.

My teaching method is to go through an example of the students work with them in order to understand what the student needs help with, and I then work through problems that the student struggles with, with emphasis on gaining a firm understanding of the material, which I believe will benefit the student more in the long run.
