In my teaching, I try to develop conceptual understanding in my students. This means, before giving out the solution of the problem, I try to guide the individual thought process of the students to reach the solution. I found this method develops interest among students in the subjects which proves to be valuable in the future.
At my university, I have been involved in tutoring PHYS 4055, with a class strength of 15 students.
I also have done individual guiding to an exchange student from QUT, I guided him in basic concepts of classical optics and computer programming. He got motivated to take up UQ physics course.
During my undergrad years in India, I taught maths to high school students.
1) Pursuing a Ph.D. in quantum physics. Currently, I have one publication in a high impact journal and one in review process. I am also in the process of submitting two other papers soon.
2) Joined project assistantship position in Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore which is a highly reputed university in India. I was involved with developing quantum information protocols.
3) Master of Technology in Optical Engineering from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Trivandrum, India. The course was mainly focused on different aspects of optical physics.
4) Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
