About Ana
I am a Physics with Astrophysics student at University of Glasgow. I was born in The Canary Islands, but I am currently living in Scotland.
I have 2 years tutoring experience even if I am 19 years old. I used to deliver science lessons to younger students at home. They got better grades after the tutoring and some showed more interest in the subject. Since I moved to the UK I started tutoring online for MyTutor, which I find as pleasing and fun. I enjoy helping people, and what better than spreading my passion and knowledge to other students?
I am as well a certified graphic designer - creativity which I apply to my lessons.

My cheerful and positive character helps students learn from mistakes and feel confident with the subject in a comfortable way.
I focus on deep understanding of the theory at the beginning of the lesson, always interacting with the student and checking if they understand by asking them questions. Then I pose exam-type problems which I help the student complete, giving graphic examples. And I give them similar exercises to solve and see if they have understood.
I am happy to modify the structure of the lessons for you, as I also check on the student's needs and most effective lecturing method, which is not always the same for every alumn.
I as well like making the student see that the subject is related to the real world and use interesting examples so I can pick their curiosity. Transmitting my passion for maths, physics or chemistry, encourages them to learn!
