About Jack
To date, I have gained 5 A* grades at A level (in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry and the Welsh Baccalaureate) and 12 A* grades at GCSE level and am currently a first year Physics with Astrophysics undergraduate at the University of Bath.
With regards to tutoring experience, I have tutored year 7 pupils in Mathematics, a handful of year 10 pupils in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and some year 12 pupils in Maths and Physics over the past year. So far, the results have been positive, with some year 10 pupils increasing from a C grade to an A/A* grade in Mathematics and Chemistry.
I see myself as an ideal tutor as I ensure that I understand the topics to a greater depth than required in the A level syllabus. This allows me to answer a broader range of questions and ensure that my students also gain the depth of knowledge required to succeed and surpass expectations.

I like to approach topics at the student’s pace. I'll begin by verifying the student's prior knowledge and will use this to plan the next steps in the process. Topics will be covered thoroughly and I am confident in my ability to answer any and all questions the student may have about any of the topics.
Lessons will consist of an introduction to the topic, in depth explanation of the topic and questions to test the student's understanding.
