About James
Having the experience of a brilliant science teacher in secondary school, I always strive to make my lessons enjoyable, engaging, and efficient. This was achieved during my internship as my feedback echoed these qualities.
Exploring a student's interests helps me ensure a subject that may be difficult is relatable and memorable.
I want to create a relaxed environment so that any question or query is answered without any anxiety.
I understand that making mistakes can be stressful. Instead, I want to show my students that making mistakes is exactly how some of the most prestigious scientists made progress.
As a graduate, I know the stress of exams all too well, I was still anxious about taking my final university exam. I will do my best to reduce that stress and help my students get the best grades they can.
In my spare time, I love to train and watch karate and football. Hiking, gaming, and cooking are also passions of mine.

Alongside my master's degree, I have undertaken a teaching internship for various year groups and abilities in all GCSE science disciplines.
I can provide flexible lesson lengths (from 30 mins to 1 hr) for year 10 to year 13 physics and maths students.
