About Damian
I have been playing piano for over a decade, starting out as a classically trained pianist and am currently being formally trained in jazz piano at Berklee College of Music. As a performer, I've had the opportunity to play at Carnegie Hall, the United Nations building, and the Red Room at Berklee. As a teacher, I have experience teaching a wide spectrum of ages, from five-year-olds to people well into their fifties.

My goal is to make playing piano as easy and accessible as possible. I'll start by asking about your goals, experience, interests, and we'll take it from there. I will make sure to tailor my lessons to what you want to learn, instead of going off of a strict curriculum, since I want you to be playing and practicing songs that you actually enjoy.
I will admit that I do NOT know everything. I am not a perfect musician but it is my goal to learn topics and genres that you find interesting so I can teach to the best of my ability.
I can help you develop a practice routine, answer any questions outside of classes, and give any advice or materials that I can find.
I use Zoom for my classes.
I specialize in teaching beginners, late beginners, and intermediate musicians who want to study technique, expression, and music theory.
