About Elodie
With a BA in Musicology (Piano History) and 6 years of teaching, I specialize in jazz piano, focusing on improvisation, comping, and harmonic sophistication. My lessons aim to combine technical mastery with creative expression.
I emphasize holistic learning through jazz theory, transcription, ear training for complex chords, and rhythmic precision. Students develop the skills to improvise naturally while deepening musical understanding.
I have taught Early Intermediate, Advanced Intermediate, and Professional/Expert jazz musicians. Lessons are flexible, interactive, and tailored to each student’s goals.
Together, we cultivate improvisation, harmonic fluency, and expressive performance. You will leave each lesson confident, creative, and ready to explore spontaneous musical expression.

I provide piano lessons that are warm, interactive, and goal-driven. My focus is on accompanying singers and instrumentalists while cultivating ensemble awareness, rhythmic responsiveness, and musical sensitivity.
Students practice reading lead sheets, transposing, and collaborating with other musicians. I use visual aids, shared scores, and interactive exercises to enhance understanding and practical skill.
I guide musicians performing in church, digital production, or ensemble settings. Lessons emphasize attentive listening, technical mastery, and expressive musical partnership.
Together, we build confident accompaniment skills and strong musical communication. You will leave each session ready to collaborate fluidly and expressively with other musicians.
