About Rex
Do you find that learning complex pedaling or sight playing feels overwhelming without a clear guide? My journey as a musician began long ago, and now I use my background in the Artist Diploma in Vocal Studies from Queensland Conservatory to simplify piano mechanics for my 405 students.
I integrate music theory and pop styles into every session to make the process engaging. I assist many pupils with ABRSM and Trinity grade exam preparation to ensure they feel ready for any assessment. My approach balances technical proficiency with the development of strong accompaniment skills. You will find my teaching style is both methodical and structured for clear results.

Hesitation during sight reading often stems from a lack of confidence in basic music theory and fingering patterns. A clear, vivid explanation of these concepts resolves the confusion immediately. Because I hold an Artist Diploma in Vocal Studies from Queensland Conservatorium, I bring a deep understanding of musical phrasing to my piano sessions.
