About Brylee
I am a piano tutor with 6 years of experience and a BA in Musicology (Piano History). My teaching focuses on jazz improvisation, comping, and developing a sophisticated harmonic language.
I take a holistic approach, integrating jazz theory, ear training, transcription, and rhythmic precision. Students learn to navigate complex chords and improvise with confidence. Every lesson blends structure with creative freedom.
I have guided Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate students, as well as Professional/Expert jazz musicians. Lessons are tailored to skill level and artistic goals.
Together, we explore improvisation, strengthen harmonic understanding, and develop expressive musicality. You will gain the skills to play with freedom, creativity, and confidence at the piano.
