About Lynn
My name is Vân Linh but you can call me Lynn. I've been playing the piano since I was three years old. Music has always been a huge part of my life and I love sharing that joy with younger students who are just starting their own musical journeys. Even though I am 14, I take my music and my teaching very seriously. Over my 11 years of playing, I have completed my ABRSM Grade 5 practical exam with Merit, achieved a Distinction in Grade 5 music theory,and have already sat my Grade 7 exam. Having gone through these exams recently myself, I know exactly what it takes to build a strong foundation in note-reading, rhythm and proper hand technique. I am patient and encouraging. My goal is to make every student feel confident and excited to practice every week.

My lessons are for absolute beginners and young kids who are just starting out aged between 2 to 14. I also teached students to prepare for abrsm from 1-5. I think learning piano should be fun, not stressful. In my lessons, we will split our time between learning how to play songs you like and understanding basic music theory so you actually know how to read notes. Because I am 14, I really understand how to connect with younger students and explain things simply without using confusing jargon. I’m experienced in preparing students for music exams, including ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music), AMEB (The Australian Music Examinations Board), or any globally recognised certification (Grades 1 to 5). I usually recommend 30-minute lessons for younger children to keep them focused, or 45-minute sessions for slightly older beginners who want to progress a bit faster. For absolute beginners, I would aswell teach them about music reading and some basic music theory.
