About Halina

I have been teaching languages for over 40 years
My Teaching Method
I have a great ability to adapt precisely to your speaking and general language needs. My goal is to teach the beginner learner Polish necessary language skills then to improve Polish-speaking confidence while also helping learn new words and improve spoken grammar. Each class is personal, and each type is very dynamic. I talk about many conversational topics that are familiar to our lives.
I also offer high pronunciation activities that help each Student strengthen their intonation, accent, and their word stress pattern. Most importantly, my classes are enjoyable and very encouraging.
The most important is for me to fit into my students' needs.
For that reason, I would like to ask why do you want to learn Polish?
Is it for a job, education, or something else?
Are you a total beginner or already familiar with Polish?
Why don't you test me by taking a Trial Class?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Greetings,
Halina Ostańkowicz – Bazan

I am a Ms Halina's private student. I must admit, I have never thought on how much an English tutor can teach you about reality and broaden your mind. Ms Halina is responsible for my significant improvement in English since I came to her for the first time. I think that my English can now only get better, and Ms Halina is the best English teacher I have ever known.
