About Shanay
My name is Shanay and I have recently graduated from the University of Warwick. Having studied Maths all the way up to A-Levels, I have a deep understanding of the subject. I am dedicated to finding out what works best for each student, using different techniques to engage and connect. My lessons are personally tailored, using exam questions to boost comprehension and retention.

I focus on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, a crucial factor in developing their mathematical skills. Each lesson is customised to the students levels and goals ensuring their confidence is built when it comes to problem solving. I encourage students to think critically while also understanding the why behind formulas.
The typical length of a lesson would range between 45-90 minutes, depending on the preferred length. This allows for review, hands-on practise and further Q&A.
Having studied and achieving A*s in maths at IGCSE and A-Levels, I have a solid background in educational maths, understanding not only the concepts, but the curriculums. I have also tutored maths while at university.
My lessons are targeted towards GCSE students and younger who may be preparing for exams or looking to improve their proficiency.
