About Jake
I am a music graduate with a degree in Popular Music and have been gigging in bands since the age of 11 starting out on drums which I am classically trained on, but my true passion is guitar which I studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music and have been playing for 12 years. I am a multi-instrumentalist and there is nothing more inspiring than passing on my knowledge to my students in a fun way. Music should be an escape, a confidence builder and most of all totally enjoyable which is why I do not teach grades.
My lessons are for anyone who wants to learn to rock out whether that be basic chords or more advanced techniques for established guitarists. I can teach any genre and actually have a love of Hip-Hop, Jazz, Rock and Metal - music is the spice of life so variety is key!

Having studied at the Institute of Contemporary Music followed by a degree at the University of Gloucestershire in Popular Music and playing drums, guitar, bass and keys for over 10 years as well as being part of several gigging bands from the age of 11 my lessons are all about making music not taking grades! I am a multi instrumentalist and music producer with my own fully kitted out studio.
Any budding rockers would be coming to the right place! I can teach basic chords to beginners through to shredding for Metal and Rock fans or anyone who wants to simply learn, enhance or progress their skills.
