About Jose
Completing a BM Popular Music from Queensland Conservatorium gave me the technical foundation for my gigging career. Teaching guitar is how I spend my time between tours and live sets. I focus heavily on indie rock and alt-rock styles for my students.
Performance-focused learners and kids often find my direct style very helpful. My 12 years of experience help me guide self-taught players wanting structure. You can expect straight talk about music theory and maintenance from a working musician.

Strings buzzing against the fretboard often frustrate beginners trying to nail their first rhythm guitar riffs. Fixing that mechanical issue is where we start building your confidence with power chords and ear training. I integrate reading sheet music and fingerpicking techniques to ensure you understand the instrument.
