About Ricardo
Hi!
I'm Ricardo, I'm a 23 year old Portuguese graduate from Acting. I toured theatre plays across Europe where I also played the guitar, I've performed live for weddings and events, and I've been using music in youth groups to bring people together!
It can be daunting and even demotivating to learn music, but my biggest goal teaching guitar is to make it accessible for everyone!
When I was little my dad put me in guitar lessons, but I found them so boring and never wanted to learn. One day I decided to learn by myself and I've been playing ever since!
These teaching sessions will be focused on you and your needs, and I always be open to discuss on how you want to study!

My lessons will be focused and led on the needs of the student (start playing, practice songs, support). I've been playing guitar for 10 years and from my experience, you learn when you're having fun!
I think one of the best way to learn guitar is using your music interests as a base, and take it from there!
My lessons are for everyone (children, students to adults) who are beginners. I will be available by email between lessons to accompany the students in their learning.
Teaching is, from my point of view, a shared experience and must be fun!

Ricardo is a an amazing teacher! He always has a lot of energy to give and it really is a plus when it comes to learning. His passion for languages is very obvious, I don’t think there is a better way to learn Portuguese than his! He understands the needs of each of his students and adapt the program for the student. I recommend 100%!
He’s very professional and kind. Always makes sure you understand everything or he will explain it again no matter how many times you need.
