About Bettye
Developing a competitive mindset and endgame technique remains central to my work. Since starting 6 years ago in Melbourne, I have integrated my BA Education and FIDE Trainer credentials to refine how students approach game analysis. Systematic improvement drives my method, focusing on defensive technique and opening repertoire building.
Building out a middlegame planning strategy is where I spend most of my time. My students see their FIDE rating grow steadily over months of focused study. Coaching in person or online, I keep the priority on specific tactical growth.
