I believe that the way you find out what you enjoy studying is to try out different subjects. Students should be required to have a broad education. Towards the end of high school, and in college, they can specialize.
Math doesn’t necessarily need to be taught the way it is now. But when people say they never used algebra, that’s BS. Every time you go to the grocery store and you see a sign that says three for $10, if you know that those items at $3.33 each, you’ve done algebra. If you want to build a planter in the backyard, I hope you know how to measure and the basics of geometry. Students should also be taught consumer math, like how much your pay. In that way if student will learn mathematics they will love maths which I believe ..
