About Julia
I’m a 17-year-old student who has recently completed the AQA A Level Polish exam and am currently awaiting my results, with a predicted grade of A–A*. I also achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Polish in 2024, demonstrating a strong understanding of the language and its literature. Having completed these qualifications so recently, I have an excellent understanding of the current AQA specification, exam techniques, and what students need to succeed. I still have access to high-quality resources and revision materials from a highly respected Polish language teacher who holds a doctorate and numerous qualifications in Polish language education. As part of my A Level studies, I studied „Katyń” and „Tango”, as well as researching Communism for my independent research project, giving me a broad understanding of both Polish language and culture. I’m patient, approachable, and passionate about helping students build confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and preparing for their exams, whether they’re studying for GCSE, A Level, or simply looking to improve their Polish.

In my lessons, I would place a strong focus on key A Level and GCSE topics such as Communism, family, school and literature studies, helping students develop both their analytical skills and cultural understanding. Lessons would be tailored to the student’s needs, with structured support for essay writing, text analysis, and exam technique. I would also set short, manageable homework tasks such as listening and reading practice to reinforce learning between sessions and build consistent progress over time.
