About Lauriane
I am a French student enrolled at King's College London, currently doing an English and History Master. During my undergraduate studies, I followed advanced Humanities courses including French Literature.
I have been giving lessons in France for a year and I volunteered to tutor ten undergraduate students in French Literature, History, Geography, English and Philosophy. I helped them progress through their first year and pass their final exams.
I also helped a refugee to learn French in order to resume his studies.

As a native French speaker, I can help students, but also anyone who wishes to brush up their foreign language skills, to improve their French. I can help you to do your homeworks and GCSE and A-Levels students to prepare for their exams, by improving and strenghtening their language skills and by giving literature, civilisation and history lessons.
I can also proof-read your academic works, professional/academic/personal emails or other statements.
I also help to write translations (from English to French and from French to English), as I hold a Cambridge C2 Proficiency and have been doing academic translations in my degrees for four years.
Depending on your level and your needs, my teaching focuses on oral and written practice, as pronunciation and grammar are the most challenging parts of the French language. I can use your materials if you have any and propose exercises such as :
- discussion on various topics with corrections of grammatical, syntactical and pronunciation mistakes;
- grammar exercises
- reading, with a focus on vocabulary
