About Sam
I really enjoy teaching the subjects that I love, because I can show students why these subjects can be so enjoyable.
For example, when I tutor maths, I try to show the reason why the formulas make sense and why that can be a really beautiful thing. Or when tutoring politics, I put a large emphasis on discussion and debate, as I know that this can improve argumentation in writing.

I am an experienced tutor, having tutored on another platform for 1.5 years.
Typically my one or two hour lessons, will focus on identifying areas of the specification the student struggles with. I try to understand how the topic has been taught before, and how I can approach the topic in a new way for the student. We will then build up confidence by using exam resources.
