About Jake
I have been in the music industry as a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and producer for 15 years and think that MOST music theory courses and syllabuses out there are BLOATED and contain far too much REDUNDANT content.
The days of Mozart are gone. Unless you're playing in an orchestra, you don't need sheet music, SATB harmony, counterpoint melody or any other fluff that does exist, but you'll never use.
You just need to learn the FUNDAMENTALS of how music works so you can SPEAK THE LANGUAGE with other musicians. We have so many digital tools available that handle the composition, so I'm just here to hone your understanding of the building blocks.

- Lessons are typically 1 hour, but we can go longer if you are committed and ready to go deep.

All in a MODERN and APPLICABLE context. I want you out there making tunes, getting on a stage or collaborating with the best ASAP, so we will dive into these concepts HARD, FAST and CLEARLY so you can save precious time and money.
