About Dafne
Hi from Italy! My name is Dafne, my native language is Italian and I have a passion about foreign languages. I live in Italy, in a beautiful island, and I love teaching languages (Italian, English and German). I hold a master's degree in Euro-American literatures, translation and literary critics from University of Trento and a Bachelor Degree in Science of Linguistic Mediation from University of Catania. During my academic studies I was awarded two Erasmus Scholarships to study in Germany in an international environment. These experiences were very inspiring and particularly positive for both learning foreign languages and developing cross-cultural communication skills. I do understand what are the difficulties to learn a foreign language, my aim is to mediate between the challenging rules of grammar theory and their application in spoken language.

I offer online Italian lessons from beginners to advanced learners. The first lesson is free and very useful to clarify learning objectives and your expectations. My teaching method depends on your requirements and interests. I always provide my students with effective learning tools (grammar practice worksheets, newspaper articles, videos, music, games) in order to make you feel more confident with a living language and culture. I am particularly interested in art, literature, political satire, music, fashion, travelling, traditions, Italian gastronomy. I am curious to learn about my student's interests. “Practice makes perfect” is therefore the path to go down for those who will attend my classes :)
