About Marie
I was born and raised in New Zealand and moved to Japan for University after graduating High School. I have had just over 7 years of work experience in Tokyo, so I am familiar with the Japanese culture both as a student and as a business person. My hobby is singing, dancing, playing the drums (no music no life) and I also have a dream of travelling and exploring the world. People would usually describe me as a kind and caring person, and I am very open-minded.

I am currently teaching daily conversation in English to Japanese students. All levels are welcome! The lesson style is free conversation and students are welcome to discuss topics of their choice and ask questions in Japanese when necessary^^ I am very patient and empathetic so please don't worry about making lots of mistakes or asking too many questions, as that is all part of the learning process! Note: - in-person lessons will be held at a public place (e.g. cafe, library etc.) and not at the student's home, unless the student is in primary school or younger. - in-person lessons will require an additional £5 for transport fee
