About Yvette

For over the past 20+ years, I have been a professional artist in the medium of abstract painting. I studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at University of NSW, College of Fine Arts, Sydney. I have worked in the film, photographic, and professional artist industries. I have exhibited in over 50 solo and group shows within Australia. My work reflects the freedom of life. I have taught abstract art classes over the past 15 years to individuals and groups in Sydney, Noosa, Northern NSW, online and in-person.

About the lesson

I guide people to explore the use of various tools and techniques to then create abstract painting projects in different styles via acrylic, mixed media, or collage, on paper or canvas surfaces. The different tools and techniques are a great foundation whereupon you are able to develop your own style. The artworks are a mix of pure abstract or semi-abstract, for example, semi-abstract landscapes. The painting sessions are relaxed, fun, and are supported with step-by-step guidance. Whether you have not painted at all or are adding to your skillset, this class will be very welcomed. People who have experienced my art classes have loved them and given great reviews.
