About Oguzhan(Oz)
Oguzhan(Oz) Ozcicek, he currently resides in the city of Melbourne, Australia. Whilst being a Industrial Designer, graduated from Bachelor of Industrial Design at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and producing paintings in his studio, Oz is pursuing a future where he can create and combine these two disciplines.
This contemporary artist considers painting and design a way of communicating the vulnerabilities and similarities that binds humankind together, while simultaneously questioning and delving into the depths of the artist’s own personality and behaviours.
His painting technique is based on creating unique compositions that are somewhat a metaphor of the psychological situation the artist finds himself within and supporting it with an emphasis of colour and pattern.
The intention of the collection is defined as a hope for viewers to understand themselves better and to create an opportunity for introspection. His art works are exhibited in galleries and private collections.
