About Daniel
I’m a practising structural engineer with almost a decade of experience using Autodesk Revit in a professional consultancy environment. I also regularly train and support Revit technicians as part of my professional role, from developing fundamental skills through to more advanced modelling and drawing production.
I hold a degree in Civil Engineering and am currently studying towards a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering with Materials, alongside working full-time in structural engineering consultancy.
I’ve used Revit throughout my career to produce structural models, drawings and construction information for real projects, so my teaching is based on practical industry experience rather than purely academic knowledge.
I enjoy helping people understand not just which tools to use, but why particular approaches are taken in professional practice. Whether you’re a complete beginner, university student, graduate or someone already working in the industry, I can tailor lessons to your current ability and what you want to achieve.

My lessons are tailored to your current level and what you want to achieve. Whether you’re completely new to Revit, struggling with a university project, or looking to develop more professional BIM skills, I can provide practical, one-to-one guidance.
I can help with structural modelling, grids and levels, framing, foundations, families, detailing, sheets, schedules, annotations and general model troubleshooting.
Rather than teaching Revit purely from a textbook, I focus on practical workflows developed through almost a decade of using Revit within a structural engineering consultancy environment.
I’m also happy to review existing models, identify problems and guide you through improving or completing your work yourself.
