About Esther
I am an incoming Texas A&M pre-nursing student and a graduate of Jakarta Intercultural School, where I developed a strong academic foundation in an international learning environment. Through my experience with AP-level courses, including AP Biology, AP English Language, AP Psychology, AP Literature, AP US History, AP Seminar, and AP Research, I have developed effective study strategies and a deep understanding of how to approach challenging material. I enjoy helping students build confidence, ask meaningful questions, and develop a stronger understanding of their subjects. My international background has taught me the importance of adapting to different learning styles and creating a supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to succeed.

My tutoring approach focuses on creating personalized lessons that match each student’s learning style, current coursework, and academic goals. I prefer working with AP and middle school students, providing support with challenging concepts, test preparation, and deeper subject understanding. I begin lessons by identifying how each student learns best and adapting my teaching methods accordingly. A typical lesson includes reviewing current material, answering questions, clarifying difficult topics, and practicing problems or skills. What sets me apart is my focus on building confidence while helping students develop stronger study habits and a deeper connection with the material they are learning. I hope that my lessons will just be a helpful resource to build on the things they have already been learning, and to focus the material on what the student needs, causing our lessons to be more concise to target the harder concepts
