I am a pre-service Teacher finishing my qualification as well as an experienced private tutor. I specialise in maths and science tuition for primary, high-school and university students.
A lot of people are convinced maths and science are just things that you "get" or you don't. That if you're struggling the only hope is to frantically memorise a mountain of formulas and hope for the best. Not true! Anyone can do it, as long as you've got someone prepared to go at your pace, understand things from your perspective and find the explanations that make sense to you.
I've helped any number of students - children, teens, university students and mature age - go from completely lost to confident and comfortable on their own. No matter how impossible you think it is, how far behind you are or how much of a maths phobia you've got, I can help you find and fill in the gaps in your knowledge and get you back on track.
I will come to you and I am very flexible with times - available during the day, after school and in the early evening during the week, and on weekends by negotiation. I am also willing to negotiate better rates for longer sessions.
