About Swaroop
I am preparing to study Medicine at university potentially with a scholarship, with a strong academic background across the sciences. I teach Biology and Chemistry, with additional experience in AS Physics and Mathematics, and I also studied A-level Psychology, which adds a holistic perspective to my teaching. To strengthen my foundation, I have completed several university-level medical science modules early, focusing on human biology and clinical concepts. I also integrate modern tools into my learning and teaching—while studying, I actively use AI to explain concepts back as if I were teaching them, which has sharpened my ability to simplify complex topics for others. I also make use of AI as a learning and teaching tool, re-explaining concepts in my own words as if I were teaching them, which helps me simplify even the hardest topics. In the past, I tutored younger peers for free, and I now combine clear scientific explanations with cognitive and psychological methods to ensure students not only learn but also truly understand and retain knowledge. My goal is to show students that progress is possible for everyone with the right guidance and to help them grow the same way I did.

I have previously tutored younger peers voluntarily, which gave me valuable experience in adapting lessons to different levels of understanding. My teaching approach combines clear explanations with cognitive and psychological methods, ensuring students not only memorise information but also truly understand and retain it. My journey hasn’t been straightforward—I began with low grades (starting at an E) and was never truly focused on education until Year 12. From there, I worked hard and achieved an A grade, going through a complete academic comeback. Along the way, I started studying medical concepts very early, which gave me a strong foundation in human biology and medical sciences. This experience has made me deeply empathetic as a tutor—I understand what it feels like to struggle, and I know how to help students unlock their full potential.
