About Alice

In 2020, I completed the HSC achieving E4 in Mathematics Ext I and II. Then, I completed a Bachelor of Computer Science from UNSW with Distinction.

I have interned as a software developer at Atlassian and contributed to artificial intelligence research at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation. Also, I've worked in hospitality and customer service.

I have teaching experience combined of ~2.5 years with students from 4-years old to University level, both one-on-one and classroom facing.

I am located in Strathfield - I'm happy to come to the student's place or meet at a library.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy is to nurture the student's academic skills, personal growth and unique interests.

I like to create anologies to make a difficult concept into something understandable and guide students into solving problems on their own.

I enjoy listening to a student's hobbies or life stage they are at and find learning opportunities in a fun project or apply their knowledge in a real-world problem.

I am happy to work with students of all abilities, different ways of learning and tailor to individual needs.

My rates start at $35/hour and vary depending on level and lesson length.

It was pleasure getting to know Sarida. We had an overview of the syllabus and spoke about assessment preparation. I gave explanations on time complexity, summation notation and also tested Sarida’s knowledge on data structures.
